The Lake Charles Refinery believes strongly in giving back to its Louisiana community. That's why they're sponsoring an education series of programs for local schools like Pearl Watson Elementary. Today, Farmer Jason entertained and educated kids with fun and colorful songs. What important lessons did you learn in school?
We're on a boat! A tugboat to be exact. Indeed, Captain Ken and the crew of Pat, a tractor tug, were kind enough to take us out on the water to learn about the integral role tugboats play in the supply process. Educational and fun!

The Road Trip has arrived! Join us at Cash Magic Vinton, located at 2334 Hwy. 109 South, for a CITGO Customer Appreciation Day from 1-3:30 pm! On the Fueling Good Road Trip, we are committed to supporting local businesses because we want to shine a spotlight on those who benefit their communities. We discovered one such business, Misha's Pets, right here in Sulphur, Louisiana, which has served the region for 14 years.
We've already experienced a lot of Louisiana: Homemade gumbo, a high school pep rally and a visit to the Lake Charles Refinery. To see more of his beautiful state, CITGO fuel distributor Herb offered to take us out on Lake Charles. We happily obliged!

The friendly folks at the Lake Charles Refinery invited us over to learn how they're Fueling Good in their local community - by providing more than 1,000 jobs and volunteering for more than 30 charities! Adam and Diego were delighted to be invited to Dana's house for some traditional gumbo! Dana, an employee at the Lake Charles Refinery, told the guys they absolutely had to have gumbo while they were here. What traditional dish makes your community stand out?
Good is being Fueled all around in our world, you just have to look! That's what the Road Trip discovered here in Sulphur, where we met Miss Louisiana, who supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Colors for a Cause ~ Louisiana Chapter, which raises funds for cancer awareness.
